Photoshop Hand Assignment
- Take a digital photo of your hands, take it onto your H drive.
- Your final Photoshop product must have a foreground, mid-ground, and background. The foreground must have an object that is the focal point.
- Get rid of the black background first. You can either use the lasso tool or you can use the mask tool to do this. You can also use the magic eraser tool. Use the blur tool to get rid of the rough edges.
- Create a background using on of the objects places on the I drive in my folder called “Photoshop objects”.
- Background can be anything you like as long as you use at least one objects in this folder. - The object must be altered with colors, filters, and effect tools. - You are free to cut and paste parts of objects and to create your own original background design. - Take 5 minutes to write down what you have done to your background in your sketchbook.
- Your hand must have a very significant contrast so that there are very light white colors and very dark black colors throughout the photograph of your hand picture.
-Use at least 3 different effects or filters on your hand. You can also use the "transform" button to change sizes, rotate, etc. (Take 5 minutes to write what you have down with your hand in your sketchbooks)
- Add another object from my folder and create either a foreground or a mid-ground with it. The hand doesn't have to be the focal point.
- Feel free to change colors and use filters and the transparency bar.
- If you have other ideas please feel free to share them with me and the class.
- Please feel free to bring in your own pictures from home to work on them if you have extra time ONLY at the end of the assignment.
