Chess Club is open to any student in grades PK - 12th who has an interest in learning and improving in the game of chess. For competitive players, a ranking system is used whereby students can earn points toward becoming Chess Masters or even attaining the title of Grandmaster.
Bradford also fields a Chess Team which participates in an interscholastic chess league, where our best players compete against the best from other schools. The Chess Team's schedule will be posted when it becomes available.
Chess Club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Mr. Rutledge's room (C-14) from 2:55 - 3:15. Students who stay after school for Chess Club can ride the late bus home.
