In the event it is necessary to close school for the day due to inclement weather or other emergency reasons, announcement thereof shall be made directly to staff and parents via the computerized telephone notification system and over the following local radio and televisions stations as designated by the Board of Education:

- WENY TV (Channel 36)
- WETM TV (Channel 18)
These radio and TV stations will be notified as soon as possible, usually before 7:00 a.m. The home page of this website will also beupdated as early as possble to keep students and parents aware of any changes. Please do not call the Superintendent or the bus garage!!
When school is closed, all related activities, including athletic events and student activities, will ordinarily be suspended for that day and evening.
