LIVING ENVIRONMENT POLICIES
The terms listed below will help both you, the student, and me, the teacher, to have a successful year ahead. If we work together our year will be educational and enjoyable.
Classwork: It is expected that class work be complete and on time.
· If it is late one day 50% off (unless student out due to illness)
· If handed in later that day 25% off
Lab Work: Students are required to maintain an 80% average in lab work. If your grade falls below this point you are required to stay 2:55-3:15.
Tests: Tests failing must be made up within 1 week. Students are encouraged to retake low test scores and improve their grade.
Behavior:
· Show everyone respect.
· Be mature.
· Focus on classroom work. PAY ATTENTION!!!
· Ask questions…wait your turn.
· Be on time and ready to work (pen, books, etc.).
· Keep hands and feet to yourself.
Grading Policy:
· Tests 50%
· Lab 20%
· Classwork 20%
· Participation 10%
Other responsibilities:
· You will ask questions whenever necessary.
· You will help other students do their best.
· You agree to do your own work.
Teacher Responsibilities:
· I will have classwork graded within two days when turned in.
· I will have test graded the day after the last person completes the test.
· I will not reject a student’s request for help unless I have a prior commitment.
· I will have a detailed grade report for each student every 3weeks (unless my computer is down).
· I will be prepared for class and ready to teach to the best of my abilities each day.
