I am very impressed with my math class so far.
I have been testing each child one-on-one to see what they know about patterns. Most of them are able to make all different kinds of patterns, tell me about their patterns and even extend a pattern that I have made.
Since they are doing such a good job we will be moving into sorting and classifying. To help your child with sorting you can have them sort these objects:
1. cereal
2. laundry
3. toys
4. money
