CONGRATULATIONS KAISER!
The Schuyler County Coalition on Underage Drinking (SCCUDD) held a billboard contest for Schuyler County students’ grades Kindergarten through grade 6. All students attending Odessa-Montour Central School, Watkins Glen Central School, and Bradford Central School were eligible, including homeschool students residing in Schuyler County.
Billboards created were to have a message that informs, persuades, or states facts about substance abuse. Messages could be about nicotine/tobacco/vaping, alcohol, and/or prescription drug abuse or illegal drug use and how it is harmful to youth.
This year’s winner is Bradford 5th grade student Kaiser K. His billboard “Fall into Healthy Habits” encourages youth not to smoke, vape, drink alcohol, or do drugs.
Entrant’s billboards were placed on SCCUDD’s social media, where the public was encouraged to vote. Kaiser’s billboard enjoyed over 600 views, received the most votes, and was shared many times.
You will be able to enjoy Kaiser’s billboard during November and December located on Route 14 in Montour Falls.
