1. Women’s Ministries Scholarship Program- $20,000- 49 Awards (Deadline is October 15, 2020)

-Eligibility:

  1. Be a woman who would not be able to attend college without financial help.
  2. Be a woman who is committed to serving the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church who would otherwise be unable to afford a college education.

2. The Excelsior Scholarship

-File your FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov

-Continue to the NYS TAP application and complete

-Apply for the Excelsior Scholarship at www.hesc.ny.gov

-Eligibility:

*For New York State students whose families make less than $125,000/ year (AGI on 2018 tax return), pursue an associate or bachelor's degree, and earn 30 credits each year.

3. NSHSS STEM Scholarships- $1,000- 7 Awards (Deadline is October 15, 2020)

-Eligibility:

  1. Be a senior in high school with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  2. Must demonstrate a desire to pursue a major in one of the STEM disciplines.

4. 2021 Prudential Spirit of Community Award

-Apply for this scholarship at spirit.prudential.com or nassp.org/spirit 

-Eligibility:

*You are a student who has volunteered over the past year

-Deadline: November 10, 2020

5. Horatio Alger Scholarship- $25,000- 106 awards (Deadline is October 25, 2020)

-Eligibility:

  1. Be enrolled full time as a high school senior in the US; be progressing normally toward graduation in spring/summer of 2021 with plans to enter a college in the US.
  2. Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the US.

6. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship- $160,000- 40 Awards (Deadline is October 30, 2020) 

-Eligibility:

  1. Be a high-achieving high school senior with financial need who plans to attend a four-year college.
  2. Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

7.SP High School Scholarship- $10,000- 10 Awards (Deadline is October 31, 2020)

-Eligibility:

  1. Be a high school student planning to attend college in September 2021.
  2. Answer the essay question on the sponsors website.

8. Voice of Democracy Scholarship- $30,000- 50 Awards (Deadline is October 31, 2020)

-Eligibility:

  1. Currently be in high school between the grades 9-12.
  2. Be enrolled in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program in the US.

9. Coca-Cola Scholars Program- $20,000- 150 Awards (Deadline is October 31, 2020)

-Eligibility:

*Be a current high school (or home-schooled) student attending a school in the US who will graduate during the 2020-2021 academic school year.

10. You Deserve It Scholarship- $1,000- 1 Award (Deadline is November 29, 2020)

-Eligibility:

  1. Be a resident of the US
  2. Be 16 years of age or older and be enrolled in college or registered in high school.

11. Real World Design Challenge Scholarships- $50,000- 7 Awards (Deading is November 30, 2020)

-Eligibility

*Be currently enrolled in grade 9-12. Students enrolled in school environments with alternative grade or level designations must be engaged in a program of study equivalent to the corresponding high school grade level.

12. 10 Words or Less Scholarship- $500- 1 Award (Deadline is November 30, 2020)

-Eligibility:

*Be between the ages of 14-25 and will be attending school in the fall of 2021.

-Eligibility:

  1. Be a high school junior or senior.
  2. Have participated in a project within the community and demonstrate how that has contributed to your growth as an individual.
