Special Education

The Bradford Central School District is committed to meeting the needs of all our students. Our staff is trained to continually assess all students in determining the level of need for that child. If a child is suspected of having a disability, school staff or parents have the ability to refer that child for an evaluation for special education services. Please note, not every child who struggles in school is eligible for special education services. Guidelines for providing students with disabilities a free and appropriate education are regulated through federal and state regulations.

If you suspect that your school-age (age 3-21) child has a disability and would like to discuss options or have your child tested please contact the CSE office at (607) 583-4616 ext.1230.

If you suspect that your child has a disability and they are not yet school-age (birth-2 years of age), please contact your county of residence at: Schuyler County: 607-535-8140, Steuben County: 607-664-2146, or the CSE office at 607-583-4616 ext. 1230.
