Dear BCS Parents,
Students who ride bus 70 will be picked up in the morning approximately 10-15 minutes earlier than usual due to changes in routes due to our limited number of drivers.
Bus 68 will be picking up students instead of bus 70.
Thank you.
Dear BCS Community.
We received word today from our local health department that a member of our staff has tested positive for COVID-19. This person had already been isolated due to COVID symptoms, however, we did have to quarantine (11) students and (1) additional employee.
We will remain on remote instruction for all students in grades 7-12 up until the holiday break. Students in grades PreK-6 will continue to attend in-person school.
Please remember Wednesday, December 23rd is our last day of school before the holiday break and we have an early dismissal time of 11:30 AM.

Dear BCS Families, Faculty and Staff,
Due to a lack of school bus drivers we will be unable to open today, Wednesday, December 16th, as normal. We will use today as an emergency closing day, meaning school is not in session. Please stay tuned as we assess the situation and determine how we will proceed from now until the holiday break. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Bradford Central School District
Dear BCS Community,
The Bradford Central School District has confirmed that a staff member in our District has tested positive for COVID-19. As a result of this positive case we have to quarantine (13) students and (4) staff members. All impacted families have been contacted.
This determination was made after extensive communication between the District and our local public health agency. Based on the nature of the contact we will remain open for regular school tomorrow and moving forward.
As positive cases of COVID-19 continue to increase in our area I strongly encourage everyone to follow the preventative measures of wearing a mask, maintaining social distance and washing hands.
Stay safe and vigilant everyone!

Each year the Council on Alcoholism and Addictions of the Finger Lakes hold an annual Red Ribbon Week contest for students in grade 7 - 12. This year‘s theme was Tweet it! Talk it! Text it! This is a reminder that by staying drug-free you are sending a message about how much you value yourself, your family and friends, your community, and your future. Our students learned about this during health classes. This year Violette won a set of wireless earbuds. Congratulations Violette!
The Bradford Central School District and John Wayne would like to wish all of you Pilgrims a Happy Thanksgiving.
